Hi everyone! First post here.
I'm a freelancer but have been working closely with a content creator livestream event company as head of production and would love some advice. I'm still at University and willing to learn as many new skills as possible.
We've had a successful year of livestreams, but we're lacking something to get to the next level of video production. It still feels like we're only just past the amateur level, and after directing a stream at a real production studio I want to level up our in-house quality. Majority of the time the picture quality looks nice, I have a good understanding of cameras etc, it's more so the transitions, effects, and general reliability of the show we have running.
Below, I'll list the gear we have to give full context we have plenty of rigging equipment & have a ceiling rig in our main studio.
- LiveU Solo Pro + LRT Package
- ATEM Mini + Streaming Bridge
- Sony PXW Z-190
- Sony FX30 x 2
- Sony A73 x 1
- Sony A7S3 x 1 (Mine)
- Sony ZVE10
- Sony A6000
- Blackmagic P6k
- USB-C Camera chargers etc.
- Hollyland transmitter x 2
- DJI Mic
- Tripods
- Intel NUC (in place of Live U when internet is available)
- Amaran P60C & 60X?
- Dracast keylights
- Elgato Streamdeck XL x 2
(We currently run our productions off of OBS, I've heard many things about V-Mix so that is another option I am open to)
Any recommendations for both remote & local productions would be greatly appreciated
